About Lamb's Ear YarnsLocated in Gilford, New Hampshire, just off Lily Pond Road and the Laconia Airport, Lamb's Ear Yarns has been located in the same building as the Pepi Herrmann Crystal studio since spring of 2006. The building is air-conditioned, for your comfort, during summer classes. Lamb’s Ear Yarns owner, Sue Greene, learned to knit at the age of four and has been knitting ever since. The shop offers a wide range of yarns and colors with many simple and easy-to-understand patterns so you won't get discouraged when you begin to learn to knit. Knitting is a wonderful pastime. You can take your knitting project with you anywhere and it's very relaxing! Lamb’s Ear Yarns have a distinctive New England focus. The Harrisville yarn is spun in Harrisville, New Hampshire, the Green Mountain Mohair and other Green Mountain yarns are spun in Putney, Vermont. The majority of our other yarns come from across the US and Canada. Come visit the shop, meet Lily, our kitty, and let us share our enthusiasm for knitting with you!
