Spring 2026 Knitting Retreat
With designer and teacher Donna Kay
Sunday, June 7 to Wednesday June 10, 2026
at the Newagen Seaside Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine
Enjoy the picturesque surroundings or explore Boothbay Harbor as you receive personalized instruction for the knitting project of your choice, including customizing for a perfect fit. Donna Kay (https://www.facebook.com/knitterspinner/ and https://www.ravelry.com/designers/Donna-Kay) will suggest a sweater from our list of designers, though your choice of another sweater or shawl is certainly an option! You can also bring something you have underway and want Donna’s help to move forward. Bring a couple of projects that need a little clarification!
The hotel has made numerous upgrades so your accommodations will be extra special, including complimentary buffet breakfast every morning. Enjoy lunch or dinner at their Pub (not included in price of retreat) or drive to Robinson’s Wharf for a fresh seafood dinner. Make sure you take advantage of the heated saltwater pool and the outside spaces to sit and relax or visit some of the quaint shops in Boothbay.
The retreat is limited to 12 students, Sunday to Wednesday, is $675.00 plus the cost of your room, meals, and Maine State tax. There are no refunds or credit.

HOTEL INFORMATION
Please make your reservation directly with the Newagen Seaside Inn at 800-654-5242, 207-633-5242 or online at https://newagenseasideinn.com/. Mention the Lamb’s Ear Yarns retreat. The room rate is $185.00 which is the same as last year and includes the Maine state tax of 9% and the full buffet breakfast.
Reservations at the hotel should be made ASAP. To register for the retreat, send a check payable to LEY by April 1st. There is no refund if you cancel after April 1st.
If you cancel your hotel reservation more than 14 days before arrival the hotel will refund your deposit minus a cancellation fee for $35.00. Cancellations that occur within 14 days of arrival will not be refunded. Please contact us to sign up and to receive updates on projects, schedule and more.
